(Isra) 17 : 34

And you don’t approach the property of the orphan except in the Best Way until he reaches maturity, and fulfill the covenant, indeed the covenant will be questioned.

It is told in verse 4: 2 to give orphans their property, and you should not substitute evil for good, nor swallow up their wealth along with your wealth; indeed it is a great outrage. And in verse 4: 6 says: “And you test the orphans until they reach the age of marriage; if you are sure about their maturity, then hand over their property to them, and you should not consume extravagantly in anxiety fearing that they will grow up; if anyone is self-sufficient, he may satisfy with his wealth; and if anyone is poor, then you may consume in Justice; and when you hand over their properties to them, then you make witness upon them, while Lord Allah is enough for Reckoning”. Indeed, those who are eating the properties of orphans unjustly, indeed they are eating Fire in their bellies, and they certainly will be roasted in the Blaze as explained in verse 4: 10.

Covenant told in this verse is the covenant made with Lord in the Paradise as explained in verses 7: 172-173. The Arabic Quran reading Fujjar who read these verses are breaking the covenant made with Lord so that they are the transgressors and losers in the Hereafter as explained in verses 2: 26-27 and 13: 25. Those who breach the promises made with others are compared to a woman who untwisted her spun thread after it is perfectly completed as explained in verse 16: 92. See explanation 13: 17-18 and 16: 90-91.
